Family protection dog Ash, is a yet another superbly bred Czech import female that we were lucky enough to acquire and train at A1K9. A medium size, correctly proportioned female from proven working lines, Ash has a great temperament and character. She is easy to live with as she is calm and well mannered in the house and very eager to please. Typical of many of the working line dogs, she has the ability to be very calm and placid when relaxing with the family, yet plenty of energy and drive when there is the opportunity to blow off steam or enjoy a game of ball.
Ash is fabulous with children and other dogs and is happy to interact with visitors, although she could be regarded as being a little indifferent towards people until she knows them, reserving her affection for those who she lives with.
Ash is also a very capable girl when it comes to her protection work. She is very able to give a stern warning bark or growl when appropriate to make her presence known and she is equally able to back that warning up if the threat persists.
All in all, Ash ticks lots of boxes and we would unreservedly recommend her to any family looking for a cuddly fun loving pet that has that all important A1K9 edge, the ability to protect when required.
