Information about Pablo
Personal protection dog Pablo, is yet another good looking, show type German Shepherd male that we imported from our contacts in the Czech Republic. He is an incredibly substantial dog that is well proportioned and of traditional appearance with a lovely rich black and tan coat.
Pablo joined our training programme some months back having previously lived in a family home in Czech where he had received some basic training and plenty of socialisation in both urban and country environments. Pablo is a very steady dog by nature and throughout his training has shown himself to be very capable of achieving high standards in both the obedience and protection elements of our training. He has a really nice nature and once one has formed a bond with him he is a joy to work with, however, Pablo is not a dog that looks to everybody for fuss and attention, tending to reserve his soft cuddly side for those with whom he has forged a relationship. Pablo is quite happy to meet and greet new individuals but remains fairly neutral towards them and this attitude is similar towards other dogs, his priority being spending time with his trainer and enjoying some one on one Pablo time.
We would consider Pablo most suitable to live with an older couple or a family with older children where we are sure he would prove to be not just a super family pet but also a very disciplined and steadfast family guardian.
